A Day In Key West, Florida.

Key West can really be the key to anyone’s heart. Before entering the small city you will be able to see breathtaking panoramic view of crystal clear blue water on both the sides and few amazing old sculptures where you would definitely want to stop and take pictures.

We started our day early from Miami to Key west as we were taking a day trip. It is 4 hour beautiful drive specially when you are crossing The Overseas Highway. The drive is so scenic as you will see small houses and palm trees on both the side and you can also park your car and go fishing. It is the Classic America road trip. The Seven Mile Bridge is constructed over a vibrant blue ocean which is the most attractive part of the road trip.

Key West is the perfect romantic place where every couple would dream to buy a house. There are small islands around Key West which you can go by boat.

We never planned to visit Key West as all of us wanted to spend that day on beaches and clubs of Miami but we got to know from so many people that its the best place to visit and now I would say it surly is!! Key West is a destination where you can relax while having a glass of Wine at awesome bars and restaurants from where you can see people having fun on riverside, artists performing, people buying art and crafts from stalls, and eating local food.

Key West is Florida’s southernmost point, just 90 miles away from Cuba. The Southernmost Point Buoy is a major tourist attraction and is open 24 hours (you will get perfect picture only before sunset). It is located near South Beach where you will easily find parking.

The Sunset Point was the perfect location to spend and enjoy our evening (We took few packets of chips) so it kind of became our picnic point. We enjoyed the sunset with few glasses of pineapple juices and I could see how people were enjoying there parties on yachts with music and drinks.

A) How To Reach : Hire a car or jeep from Miami (Road Trips are the best trips)
B) Accommodation : Beach Resorts ( little expensive), Book houses or rooms from Airbnb
C) Attraction: Southernmost Point Buoy, Duval Street, Mallory Square
D) Things To Do: Scuba Diving, Sailing Tours, Old Town Trolley Tours

Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would love to visit Key West again.
